CastClan exists because there was a gap nobody had filled: finding the other people in your city who listen to the same podcasts you do.
Why CastClan exists
I wanted to meet other people in Plano who listened to Real Baron Podcast and I Am Coach Colin. People who think independently, question the mainstream, and aren't afraid to have real conversations. I knew they were out there — but there was no way to find them.
Bumble BFF is a dating app with a friend mode bolted on. Meetup is for any interest — not podcast taste specifically. Reddit and Discord have great communities, but they're global, not local. None of them answer the question: who in my city listens to what I listen to?
CastClan is the missing piece. It's built specifically so podcast listeners can find each other locally — where real relationships actually form. We started in Plano, TX, and we're building outward from there.
